Skytear Blue Linear MX Switches
CHOSFOX Skytear Blue is a linear switch engineered for high-speed input and crisp tactile feedback.
Its ultra-short 0.9mm actuation point delivers rapid response; paired with a 22mm spring, it maintains light actuation while providing a clean, decisive rebound—ensuring every keystroke feels direct and precise.
The switch is tuned for a “crisp, clean, and uncompromising” feel—bright yet never harsh—ideal for rhythm-driven typists and casual gamers.
Its 5-pin structure ensures stable installation and compatibility with mainstream MX mechanical keyboards.
Whether for high-frequency text input or everyday use, seeking a satisfying tactile experience, Skytear Blue delivers a light, clear, and controllable linear feel.

The result is exactly what the name Skytear Blue promises — a clean, refined sound with a subtle core, balanced by a soft, lingering resonance that never feels harsh. It carries a gentle, “moist” character, reminiscent of rainfall — controlled, elegant, and deeply satisfying.
From a structural standpoint, a T2 stem paired with a flat pole tip would typically produce a sharper, more aggressive sound profile. However, by incorporating a classic PA12 top housing, this switch transforms that potential sharpness into something far more unique: a soft, rain-like acoustic texture. This is not accidental — it feels intentionally engineered.
The inclusion of a diffuser further enhances this character. While diffusers can often make switches sound slightly muted, and their absence can lead to overly scattered acoustics, Skytear Blue strikes a rare balance. It creates a subtle, water-like reverberation that adds depth without sacrificing clarity.
Another standout feature is the bottom-out feel. Despite its ultra-short 0.9mm travel and relatively light 47g bottom-out force, the feedback is surprisingly soft. Where many short-travel switches can feel harsh or fatiguing over time, this one remains comfortable and controlled. The result is a typing experience that feels both rhythmic and refined.
This is not a switch for those seeking loud, sharp, or aggressively clacky profiles like HMX Yogurt. Instead, it is ideal for more discerning enthusiasts, frequent gamers, or anyone who prefers lighter actuation and a gentler typing experience — especially those drawn to soft, rain-like acoustics.
In a market dominated by bright and piercing sound signatures, Skytear Blue stands out as something different — a switch with character, restraint, and a beautifully designed acoustic identity.
The actual sound of the Chosfox & HMX Skytear Blue Linear switch was quite different from what I imagined it would sound like based on the material used. The switch precision and smoothness are in line with the high-quality feel of today's switches, but I'm amazed that they were able to create such a quiet switch from this material. It's much quieter than the White Fox. Given the current trends, I think many people will be disappointed. The sound quality is thick and hard, so it's quite targeted to a specific audience, but I think it's quite different from the trend.
