Did not arrive yet.

I was surprised to be asked to rate the product before it has even arrived. Unfortunately, the order has not been fulfilled, and it has now been over a month since I placed it.

The package has been returned from Chinese customs to the sender three times, and each time it was re-sent with a new tracking number. However, I was never informed of the reason behind the repeated returns. While the support team has been responsive and helpful via email—which I genuinely appreciate—the item is still in transit and has not yet left China.

It is disappointing to have to leave a low rating, but until the product arrives, I cannot provide a more positive review. I sincerely hope it will eventually be delivered, and I am more than willing to update this review and adjust my rating accordingly once it does.

Additionally, considering the high shipping cost, I find it quite unprofessional that the shipment has been returned multiple times without a clear explanation, and that it has failed to leave the country of origin after such a long delay. I have not yet requested a refund, but if the issue persists, I may be left with no other option.

Read me to get VIA working – fairly affordable choc v1 low profile keyboard.

Ordered this earlier this month. Received it this week and took the time to assemble it today. It took me perhaps 45 minutes to an hour to carefully assemble it. But that's because this is the first time that I've needed to assemble a keyboard.

I could not get the software to work. It would not find the keyboard even if it was plugged in. Initially, could not get the .json file linked to on the website to work with Via (via.evove.top, usevia.app, or via the desktop GUI wrapper). However, I found the secret by sideloading Chosfox's .json into Via (click on settings and enable the Design tab and then load the .json from Chosfox. Then, the Configure tab worked to change keys.

If you're adding or using a layer, work with layer 2,—layer 1 appears to be hard-coded into the function key that's next to delete. For example, I ended up changing the right win key to be the key to access layer 2. And to avoid the weirdness, once I'm in layer two, I hard-coded the right win key in layer 2 to also be the right win key.

A good, solid small keyboard

Exactly as described, I decided to try linear pink switches, preassembled and I was not disappointed. It feels like I am spacegliding and I can go through each word much more faster compared to brown switches. They are also slightly quieter too. The quality feels nice, thanks to the aluminum, and it has bluetooth as well. I am removing one star since one of my switches doesn't have RGB, idk it its defective or damaged, and the keyboard feet that they used are off centered and my keyboard does wobble while typing. It can be fixed by getting a new set, making your own feet, and the whatnot. Also, the software does not work and to customize your keys, it would have to be through VIA, at least with my model. It is super serviceable, only held down by a couple of screws and the whole thing comes off. Switches seem easy to take out as well. I would recommend this keyboard if you use your phone for notes and would like a keyboard to type faster, as well as a keyboard that is easy to repair as well. For me, its perfect since all I do during my classes is take notes on my phone, so I decided to buy a keyboard and spaceglide.

Nice feel but with flaws

The keyboard feels very good. It's super easy to assemble.
I got a faulty PCB and it was replaced. The second PCB had a faulty soldering spot. No further support. I found the flaw on my own and fixed it on my own.

The software has some bugs and could be easily fixed by a willing community. But chosfox claims they don't use QMK (but that's mandatory to work with VIA so it's obviously not true). They don't want to make the sourcecode public. That's super sad. A good keyboard with shitty software and no transparency for the community.

But still it feels very nice to use.

Great

I really like this keyboard. A manual about how to build would be nice, but it's still fairly easy to build. Quality is great, feel is great, looks great. Customer service is great ; I ve received a wrong set of keycaps, and they immediately send new set. I highly recommend.
