The switches aren't pre-installed in the tester. The tester is really just a piece of plastic with rectangle holes for the switches. I thought the switches would be installed as a single unit. I had trouble getting some of the switches into the holes. I also had trouble keeping the switches in the holes. They use a compression fit and are very easy to pop out. (A light touch on the back of the panel is all it takes!) Once I understood this and got it assembled, it wasn't a problem. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It is exactly what I was looking for!

and I couldn't be happier. It's great if you want to check out all 16 types of Kailh v1 switches that are available and have them neatly in a grid in an acrylic pad. It makes it easier to test the feel of each switch and simulate a small keyboard if you have spare caps.

The package also arrived reasonably quickly and in a neat sturdy envelope, so that's a plus as well.

First off, this is a good quality product. This tester includes several harder to find switches, and gives a good sense of what different types of switches feel like at different weights.

However, there is a major problem, which is that the data listed on this page is incorrect! I have seen this chart in several places online so I don't know if this is the source or if it was copied from somewhere else, but several of the weights are simply wrong.

CORRECTIONS:
Black, Burnt Orange & Pale Blue all use 60gf SPRINGS, not the weights listed. Jade uses 50, and Navy appears to use 70. It is very easy to tell when testing this in person that the listed weights are incorrect.

For that reason, as well as the long shipping time (two weeks, with poor tracking), I am knocking two stars.

The switches come loose, there’s no case as depicted in the product pictures. Deceptive advertising.

Pack is just switches, so it's likely you don't have a compatible board/mount or the keycaps to adequately test them. I think I would have been fine with even a single 3d printed mount/keycap. I printed my own for convenience in testing, and ended up loving the Jades and Robins the most. It would be nice if Chosfox had a cheap option to include a small kit to help with this, but I got what I ordered and it was enough to make a decision
